These qualifications develop and demonstrate the knowledge and skills in Food Preparation & Culinary Arts - Patisserie that progress into a supervisory or managerial role. It will train students in the basics of restaurant cooking and baking, food safety procedures and nutrition. The Level 2 Diplomas are for candidates who wish to work in hospitality and already have knowledge of the basic principles of the hospitality industry, or who can demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to develop their skills and knowledge to work in this diverse and growing industry.

 

Subjects taught are customer service in hospitality and catering industry, introduction to hospitality & catering industry and restaurant management.
